Nottingham Forest defender on being the fastest player in Serie A, happy times at Chelsea's academy and why he loves
Willy Boly, the Nottingham Forest defender, has spoken about his time at Chelsea's academy, his spell in Serie A and why he loves playing for the Reds.
Boly, who joined Forest from Wolves in the summer, was a product of the Chelsea academy and made his debut for the Blues in 2014. He spent two years in Italy with Torino before returning to England with Wolves in 2018.
The Ivory Coast international has quickly become a fan favourite at the City Ground and has helped Forest to climb the table in recent weeks. He is known for his pace and power, and has been clocked as the fastest player in Serie A.
"I'm really enjoying my time at Forest," Boly said. "The fans have been great and the team is playing well. I'm just happy to be playing regularly and helping the team win."
Boly also spoke about his time at Chelsea's academy, where he played alongside some of the best young players in the world.
"It was a great experience," Boly said. "I learned a lot from the coaches and the players. I played with some great players, like Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne. It was a special time in my life."
Boly also revealed that he is still a Chelsea fan and that he watches their games whenever he can.
"I still follow Chelsea and I'm always happy when they win," Boly said. "They're a great club and I have a lot of good memories there."
Boly's comments show that he is a proud Chelsea academy product and that he is still grateful for the opportunity to have played for the Blues.
