Roberto De Zerbi Appointed as New Manager of Brighton
Italian Signs Four-Year Deal, Replacing Graham Potter
Brighton & Hove Albion have appointed ROBERTO DE ZERBI as their new manager, with the Italian signing a four-year contract.
De Zerbi, 43, replaces Graham Potter, who left Brighton to join Chelsea earlier this month. De Zerbi is a highly-rated coach who has previously managed Shakhtar Donetsk and Sassuolo.
In a statement on the club's website, Brighton chief executive Paul Barber said: "We are delighted to have secured the services of Roberto De Zerbi as our new head coach. He is a talented and experienced manager who we believe will be a great fit for our club."
De Zerbi said: "I am very excited to join Brighton & Hove Albion. This is a great club with a passionate fanbase and I am looking forward to working with the players and staff to achieve success. "
