Accident Occurs at Tenerife, Last Port of Call
Arcadia, the passenger cruise ship operated by P&O UK, has had its return to service disrupted following an accident at Tenerife, the last port of call on its cruise itinerary. As a result, seven sailings have been canceled, leaving passengers disappointed.
The accident occurred on April 13, 2022, and involved the ship colliding with a dock while maneuvering in the port. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported among the passengers or crew.
P&O UK has expressed its regret for the disruption and is working to accommodate affected passengers. The company is also investigating the cause of the accident and has promised to take appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
